Napoleonics: The armies
Just a quick word regarding the two armies…they’re over 20 years old and haven’t been repainted or rebased since they were completed. They’ve been moved lots recently and starting to show a bit of wear and tear. I can’t expand them as the figures are long OOP (About the closest manufacturer to them would be Minifigs in terms of style as they were sculpted by the same designer but manufactured by another company for about 2 years) and some of them are conversions. So effectively the armies are limited to this size forever, especially as there’s no way in hell I’ll ever paint Napoleonics again, not even for obscene amounts of money. I’ll probably end up paying decent money to get other Napoleonic armies as I’m just not interested in doing anything other than play with the figures and painting Napoleonics would be far far more intensive than painting say WW2 Camo smocks in 15mm. If I was at all thinking of getting back into Napoleonics with new figures I’d go the whole AB miniatures/Eureka 18s route as they’re just exquisite, but again I’d pay someone else to paint them.
